Story: Mirte is the grumpiest cleaner in the airport immigration centre, a single mother who cannot take care of her 9-year old son, just managing to keep a grip on her life by following a strict set of routines. That is until Luke arrives, a West African refugee who is not put off by her aggression. This movie approaches a very political theme in a poetic and subtleway. It doesn't scream out loud what stance the director takes in thedebate about asylum seekers. As with all movies that I've seen fromdirector Jaap van Heusden, some images stay in my mind a long timeafter Streaminging. Even though the political theme is heavy, there isspace for some humor. I like it that the relation and attractionbetween the two persons never becomes too definite, never is consumedso to speak, but nevertheless their bond is made very clear. there aresome unforgettable scenes that stay in my mind. Somehow, this again isa movie that makes you think about philosophical questions to crackyour brain about. Definitely recommended. I'm looking forward to Streamingthe movie again soon.
